Frequently Asked Questions

How are these labels applied?
They are applied to the outside of the package — unlike the pork strap label (SKU: PSPS) which goes inside before wrapping. The outside application makes the “Fresh” message immediately visible to shoppers at the case.

How much can these labels improve product movement?
Merchandising labels like these can move product up to 50% faster by drawing shoppers’ attention to freshness and quality at the point of purchase.

What departments use these labels?
They’re used across meat, deli, bakery, and produce departments — any area of a supermarket or grocery store where freshness is a key selling point.

How does this differ from the Pork strap label (SKU: PSPS)?
The Pork label (SKU: PSPS) is product-specific and placed inside the package before wrapping. This Fresh label (SKU: PSFS) is a general freshness label applied to the outside of the package and works across multiple departments.

How many labels come in a pack?
Each pack includes 2 rolls of 500 labels for a total of 1,000 labels.

Is this made in the USA?
Yes. All Screen Gems Inc. supermarket labels are manufactured in the USA.
